Relic gives restless fingers a simple sliding motion to return to while reading, thinking, or working. Some people who enjoy fidgeting—including people with ADHD-related restlessness—like having something tactile in hand. It is not a treatment for ADHD.
A familiar back-and-forth motion can offer a small, screen-free pause. Some people find repetitive tactile activities relaxing, but everyone responds differently and Relic is not a treatment for anxiety.
Relic has a PEI (polyetherimide) base with an amber-like look and feel, together with brass and stainless steel components. It also incorporates nature-inspired textural details. PEI is an engineered polymer, not polyethylene (PE), and Relic is not made entirely of metal.
Relic brings together the amber-like character of PEI, real brass and stainless steel components, nature-inspired texture, and a handheld sliding action. Its appeal comes from the combination of materials, detailing, and movement.
Moving parts may make some audible sound, depending on how you handle the slider. We do not describe Relic as silent; check the demonstration video for a better sense of its movement.
